Fahraj Farvardin Traditional Guesthouse (FFTG) is an ancient mansion with a hundred years of age that function as a historical hotel in Yazd. It has an area of a 1000 meter square. It is located in Fahraj that is an ancient village within a 35-kilometer distance to Yazd.
This old mansion has been built through three different eras. The primary building dates back to Qajar Dynasty. Then, the house was renovated in Pahlavi Dynasty. The last renovation was done in the late Pahlavi Era.
By passing the entrance room, you will enter a traditional foyer. Then you will see the yard that has a great view of the rooms. The adobe yard, the wooden doors and windows, the earthenware objects, and other traditional stuff are the highlights of the house.
There is a big pond in the middle of the yard. There is also a greenhouse with a 100 square meters area. The interior space is about 600 square meters. It has 10 separate rooms and a dormitory with 27 beds. Note that only 5 of the rooms have separate bathrooms.
Remarkably, FFTG offers guests breakfast, traditional, and vegetarian foods to its guests. It also has a praying room and a traditional tea house. It offers guests room service, internet, bathroom, and a western toilet.
