Plastic surgery
Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two categories. The first is reconstructive surgery which includes craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns. The other is cosmetic or aesthetic surgery.[1] While reconstructive surgery aims to reconstruct a part of the body or improve its functioning, cosmetic surgery aims at improving the appearance of it. Both of these techniques are used throughout the world.
Since Iran is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeons in the world, choosing a real and good plastic surgeon has become one of the main challenges for cosmetic surgeons in Iran. But what we need to know is that there is only one specialty of plastic surgery in Iran, and there is no specialized plastic surgery.Combining medical science, aesthetics, and sociology in recent decades, cosmetic surgery has gradually turned into an aristocratic luxury operation with a wide range of fans and applicants.The correction of facial and body defects that occurred either in person or as a result of aging or trauma was now a viable solution.Nose surgery may have been one of the most comprehensive cosmetic surgeries at first, but today it is almost impossible to admit that defects in the whole body can be remedied.Abdominal surgery, breast and prosthesis surgery, arm lift, cosmetic eye surgery, cheek surgery, oral surgery, facial lift and so on are all things that bring a person to specialized skin and beauty clinics.
